One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest: The Immersive Experience
Enter the Asylum
In this first-of-its-kind hybrid immersive production of Dale Wasserman's classic play, we set a traditional theatrical show in an immersive, exploratory world.
All audience members were checked into the “asylum,” either as acute or chronic patients, and encouraged to take part in our immersive pre-show where they could freely explore the asylum, interact with the characters, take “medication”, and discover the secrets of the ward and those who inhabit it.

Reviews
“As a sobering classic drama wrapped in a theme-park interactive attraction…skillful integration makes the diagnosis benign — and thoroughly engaging.” Philip Brandes, Los Angeles Times
“…it's a fun night. It's an experience. It's not just another night in the theater. On the night I went the audience was a good twenty years younger than your typical LA theater audience. That's impressive.” Anthony Byrnes, KCRW 89.9 FM (NPR)
"As for the show itself, I was enthralled with what transpired - from the acting, to the set design, to the interaction with the audience, and everything in-between. …Overall, ONE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOO'S NEST is an absolute must-see. It's perfect for people who want to dip their toe into immersive while still catering to those who are more seasoned." Shannon McGraw, Nightmarish Conjourings
“This is Los Angeles theater at its most innovative and exciting." Steven Stanley, Stage Scene LA
